Frequent Questions_Installation Issue with AVEVA Software_V1.0

There is a new issue caused by Microsoft .NET Framework related KBs in Dec/13/2022 update which impact certain AVEVA software installations.
This issue will not allow you to continue any Wonderware installation for any PC or desktop that has been updated with this KB.
This document contains the details of this issue and primary workaround how to resolve it.

KB5022083 also lists an alternate workaround. AVEVA does not recommend the workaround because of potential inherent vulnerabilities. AVEVA recommends applying only the primary workaround listed in Microsoft KB5022083.
